About the Journal

Anesthesia and Pain of Society Journal (AAPSOC) | ISSN (e): xxxx-xxxx is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal presenting clinical and experimental research on cutting-edge topics in anesthesia, pain medicine and analgesia, critical care medicine, perioperative, and emergency medicine.

Coverage includes, but is not limited to, original studies, review articles, brief reports, case series, and commentaries, as well as clinical protocols of international relevance. Articles on the following topics are welcome:

  • Critical Care Medicine in all settings and age of life

  • Intensive Care Medicine, including the management of critically ill patients in various conditions such as sepsis, shock, trauma, and organ failure

  • Airways control, maintenance, and related complications

  • Pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of anesthetic drugs

  • Perioperative Medicine, including pre, intra, and postop settings

  • Management and mechanisms of Pain in all settings, including Palliative Care

  • Anesthesia and perioperative care for all kinds of surgical treatments, age, and organs, including transplantation

  • Analgosedation

Scope on Pain: The journal welcomes articles that address all aspects of pain management, including acute and chronic pain, pain relief mechanisms, interventions for pain management, pain management in special populations, and emerging therapies in analgesia. Emphasis is placed on innovative approaches to pain management, the challenges in managing complex pain conditions, and the integration of multimodal analgesia strategies in clinical practice.

Scope on Critical and Intensive Care: The journal also focuses on intensive care practices, including the management of critically ill patients in both emergency and critical care units. Topics include the application of life-saving techniques, ventilator support, fluid management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care medicine in various specialties such as trauma, neurology, and cardiology. Articles related to intensive care unit (ICU) protocols, strategies for improving patient outcomes in critical care, and advancements in resuscitation and organ support therapies are of particular interest.

Special attention is given to emerging trends and highly debated topics in anesthesia, analgesia, critical care, and intensive care through the publication of thematic issues authored by well-known experts.

Anesthesia and Pain of Society Journal (AAPSOC) is the official publication of the National Center for Research and Education Institute (NCREI), Indonesia, for Anesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care. The journal is published twice a year. With the aim of advancing knowledge and sharing it with the wider community, NCREI will provide funding to cover publication costs for selected high-quality articles that make a meaningful impact on the literature and demonstrate relevance to clinical practice and the advancement of future research.
